Yoga is truly the original mobility training plus so much more. Stacy has worked with Middle and High School sports teams such as Lacrosse, Baseball, Volleyball and Track in both public and independent schools. She also teaches strong biking women in their 50’s and 60’s to access more mobility and build endurance.
Most of her career has swirled around teaching teenagers, from Spanish to racial justice to yoga. A teen’s search to break free and launch their own set of values is a captivating process to witness. It reminds her of her own strong desire to keep learning, growing, and re-launching. “Aprende” means learn (Spanish), originally from Latin: to get hold of and bring towards you (Latin). What can your mind learn from your body and your body from your mind?
